Sometimes I stare at my books and pine that I can only really read one at a time. Oh, I try to read more. At any given time I have about four going, stashed around the house and in my purse. But when it comes down to it, I can still only read one at a time.
And then I stop pining and turn back to the book in my hand, because pining over my lack of reading time only eats away at my reading time.
Here’s one of those books I’ve been wishing to read forever! I even snatched up two delicious candles and some tea inspired by the book to enjoy whilst reading, so I’ve got a whole bundle of reasons to get into this lovely RIGHT NOW. *sigh* It'll happen. In the meantime, I’ll leave you with a quick story blurb:

What do you look for in book reviews?
Do you like long and outlined? Short and sassy? Emojis and stars?
There’s a place for all these kinds and more. I find I lean toward wanting longer reviews from people I don’t know and snappier reviews from people I do. Is that weird? I think it’s because reviewers I don’t know have to explain themselves, and reviewers I do know … don’t. lol. Because when I go looking for a book review, it’s normally to get an over-all vibe for the book in question, not a detailed description, because I like to know as little as possible before diving into a story – I just want to know if the story is worth my time first.
